Is there anything better than curling up with your little ones while reading a Dr. Seuss book, and seeing their face light up with silly laughter and a big smile as they admire everything about his wonderful books? From dressing up as The Cat in the Hat, to counting one fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish, and even chowing down on some green eggs and ham...we wouldn't want to celebrate Dr. Seuss any other way!
“Today you are you! That is truer than true! There is no one alive who is you-er than you!”

We HAD to make our very own Cat in the Hat top hats! The children grabbed red crayons and made a red and white pattern on their hats and cut them out.
Also, what is better than a cute hand print craft? Our fish bowl art was a success and the best part is watching the little ones rub their hands together to see what color blue and red make! There is always a lesson in everything.

Counting is always a blast when there are goldfish involved. Each student was given a plate full of goldfish. Once they recognized the number on their sheets it was time to start counting out those goldfish! Of course, eating them was encouraged!

Yes Sam, I DO like green eggs and ham!
We stirred up some green dye and water, poured it into our cup with one egg and then placed the egg into our toast. Boy, were these a hit!
